- “Shithole” was all the talk over the weekend. Cable news too excited to swear. Rochelle Riley’s column got a lot tangential comments. It also gave Mitch Album the opportunity to inject himself into another column.
- Buried in all that Presidential news was the one story about the President in his “tighty whities”.
- SNL had a strong show Saturday. The opening sketch nailed the “Fire and Fury” book. They also nailed the coverage of the Golden Globes. Plus, who doesn’t like an accidental F bomb?
- Where is the picture of the dope that hit the wrong button to ruin Hawaii’s weekend? Magic Johnson was caught up in it. Bad for him, but pretty cool for everyone else at the shelter. Jim Carrey took is as an opportunity to be political.
- Great NFL games this weekend. (Even if the best one ended right after we stopped recording) Thankfully this guy with too many vowels was stopped.
- Dateline NBC introduced us to Dirty John. (No relation to Dirty Mike… or the boys) There’s a more in-depth podcast on the story & it’s become a huge hit.
- Thankfully Sky Crib can reach heaven so we can talk to Keith Jackson one last time.
- Not only is 1/15/18 MLK Day, but it’s something called Blue Monday.
- Kid Rock did something nice… again.
- #MeToo/#TimesUp Update: The LAPD is investigating Steven Seagal. Aziz Ansari is creep, phony & really bad date. One of James Franco’s accusers still has love for him.
- Breaking News: Our favorite Viking’s fan Millie is at the Minnesota/New Orleans game. She also appears to be drinking.
- Today in Rock: Who talk, David Jones becomes David Bowie, The Human Be-In, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Harry Nilsson died and Kim Fowler died.
- It’s the anniversary of the “Miracle on the Hudson”. We’re still waiting for Norm MacDonald movie.
- David Letterman’s new Netflix series started this past Friday. Don’t expect the old NBC or CBS style show.
- One last tribute to Keith Jackson… not sure the President was a fan.
