- We will be at the Killer Cares Killer’s Christmas event this Thursday at the Lodge in Keego Harbor. It’s a fun night for a great cause. If you can’t make it there are some online auction items to bid on now. Including an in-studio/basement visit with us.
- Looks like it good bye to Al Franken… and hello to Roy Moore.
- We hate having to go anywhere out of the norm. Who likes having to get their haircut or stopping to get gas?
- Ch. 7 morning anchor Malcom Maddox has been suspended for “you guessed it.” Two other names were thrown in too. Ch 2 & Ch 4 had stories, but it seemed to be missing from Ch 7 at 5.
- Warren Moon is in trouble too. He’s being sued by an ex-employee for, among other things, very poor hand placement.
- We are in desperate need for some Hall & Oats, but only of the poorest quality.
- Looks like daddy John Conyers didn’t vet his successor John Conyers III. He was recently arrested in a domestic abuse case & the police report isn’t very flattering.
- HBO had a great documentary for nerds Monday night called “The Newspaperman: The Life and Times of Ben Bradlee”. Not only was he the editor of the Washington Post, but he was JFK’s best friend. There are some wild stories about the former president in the documentary. Plus, we go down JFK’s team photo.
- No one could focus on what President Trump said today about Israel because he somehow developed a bizarre speech impediment.
- The Failing New York Times had a bombshell story about Harvey Weinstein & how he paid, influenced and forced all of Hollywood to be complicit.
- School news! This 14 year old raped a classmate in Warren. At least the Brighton teen rapist won’t go back to school there. For some reason this was actually discussed as a possibility.
- The Supreme Court has two tough cases to rule on. The religious freedom v. gay rights case- aka the gay wedding cake case. And a 4th amendment case that started here in Detroit about needing a warrant for cell phone records.
- Dateline ran the Shaun Gayle story again. SIST: The Psychic was huge & Shaun Gayle was ready to move on to some “fresh ass”.
- We try to call Lindsey Pelas again to congratulate her on not getting surgery. Drew is introduced to Dan Bilzerian.
- Today in Rock: Brian Wilson got married, Otis Redding wrote his most famous song that we change the lyrics to, Kung Fu fighting hits #1 & Mariah Carey releases a mini disk album.
- It’s also the “Day Which will Live in Infamy”.
- Happy Anniversary to the instant replay & our Cliff Notes Theater on the inventor’s life.
